HR Communications Coordinator - Oklahoma State University

Stillwater, OK • Full-Time • Bachelor's Degree Required

We are seeking an experienced HR communications professional to oversee both internal and external workforce communications. This role will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to engage employees, promote HR initiatives and programs, and position OSU HR as an essential strategic partner across the organization.

Occasional travel to other campus locations around the state of Oklahoma.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field.

  • Three years of related work experience in communications, social media, project management, website editing, content creation, video editing, graphic design, publishing and campaign implementation and planning.

  •  Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to organize materials, write, edit, visualize concepts, communicate, and interpret goals, including demonstrated proficiency in the use of AP style and adaptive writing. 

  • Knowledge of communications and ability to align content with audience needs. 

  • Must be creative, learn quickly and adapt to quickly changing environment. 

  • Must possess collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Human resources professional experience.

  • Extensive experience writing content for multiple mediums, including email, print, social media and web.

  • Experience producing and managing social media content.

  • Graphic design experience.

  • Experience using Adobe Suite.

  • Detailed project management experience. Knowledge of human resources programming.
