Graphic and Digital Coordinator – Livestock Marketing Association

The Graphic and Digital Coordinator for Livestock Marketing Association (LMA) will be an integral part of the Membership Services team. This position will serve as a lead graphic designer collaborating across all association departments to create promotional and educational content for regular and special release purposes. Responsibilities include working with design files, videos, logos, infographics, and similar visual content to enhance the LMA brand across membership and disseminate the association’s story across multiple platforms. All responsibilities are expected to be carried out under a budget structure with an awareness of general budget management. This position will report to the Vice President of Membership Services and work closely with other staff across all departments.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Develop high quality and consistently branded marketing materials to support all LMA departments. Departments include but are not limited to Membership Services, Government and Industry Affairs, Livestock Marketing Insurance Agency, Risk Mitigation, and internal LMA functions.

  • Collaborate with team members in all LMA departments to create and implement comprehensive print, digital and social media communication through graphic design and visual strategies to enhance LMA’s image and position with LMA members, the livestock industry, media and the general public.

  • Collaborates with Strategic Media Coordinator on communications efforts, including but not limited to:

  • Creating visual content for email campaigns, landing pages and web content

  • Design enhancements and graphic updates to

  • Social media planning, campaign execution and measurements

  • Selecting, designing and sourcing of promotional items to support campaign goals

  • Create and manage video archives. Coordinate with LMA department heads to create promotional or educational videos to promote LMA, its members and services. Work incudes shooting, editing, and decimating information across multiple platforms.

  • Responsible for design, production and distribution of an annual directory of LMA membership.

  • Responsible for the design, content creation and updating of the LMA national print/digital ad campaign and smaller campaigns for events/services.

  • Create content included but not limited to tutorials, graphics, templates and social media posts for LMA members to customize and utilize.

  • Oversee project management for outsourced video projects and WLAC 1-hour highlight program from inception to completion, including story board development, talent scheduling, script writing, and location scouting.

  • Collaborates with team on issues management and contributes to public relations efforts in the event of risk/crisis situations.

  • Coordinate partnerships with printers and promotional product vendors as necessary to obtain quotes for projects.

  • Create graphics, video campaigns and marketing strategy to promote pre/during/post LMA and World Livestock Auctioneer Championship events.

  • Assists in writing copy as necessary.

  • Collaborates with team on relevant market research including responsibilities and monitors trends.

  • Contribute to membership service projects and special events, as assigned.

  • Cross train and serve as part of the member and user support team for Membership Services /
