The Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication (ALEC) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is excited to announce a Ph.D. (preferred) or Master's level assistantship for qualified graduate candidates. Qualified candidates will receive assistantship funding to teach undergraduate courses within ALEC, focusing on Agricultural
Education - Teacher Preparation. The assistantship is an academic year, 0.49 FTE position.
Compensation includes tuition remission and health insurance. Candidates with particular passions for how teachers engage in work are encouraged to apply. This position combines rigorous doctoral or master's education programs with teaching and research opportunities. Successful candidates for funded assistantships must meet the admission requirements for admittance to graduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Candidates must be
self-motivated, driven, able to work independently and on teams, and have a record of success in collaborative efforts.
