The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA), headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking highly motivated students interested in learning more about agricultural communications and policy for diverse audiences. Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to prioritize work. Interest in agriculture, grants and entrepreneurship is a plus. This internship does provide a monthly stipend but housing is not provided. Internship is May - August with the opportunity to virtually continue into the fall.
The internship will consist of the following:
Support communications for Agriculture Policy Summit, NASDA's Next Generation and other foundation programs
Promote programs via social media and website
Assist with website development and edits
Create content calendar and social media campaigns
Identify and write program success stories for the newsletter
Write and maintain monthly newsletter
