Work as a member of Agricultural Communications Services professional editorial team to provide copywriting and editing support for OSU Agriculture, including OSU Extension, academics and research.
The internship will provide a range of experience in journalistic writing and editing, as well as creation of materials for distribution through traditional news media and digital platforms. Materials typically involve (but are not limited to) fact sheets, personal interviews and press releases for topics such as agriculture, family and consumer sciences, animal sciences, 4-H Youth Development and agricultural economics.
The internship is 20 hours per week (max.) and will be paid. Credit toward a student’s academic plan can be arranged. The internship will last for the semester, beginning in early September 2020.
· Applicants will need to have taken at least introductory journalism/communication courses.
· Experience with Word and Outlook required.
· Writing experience required.
· Video and photography experience preferred.
