The primary responsibility is overseeing daily management of existing accounts while growing new sponsor relationships in relation to all Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop new revenue and increase existing revenue through advertising and sponsorship sales.
Direct sales outreach for the Cattle Raisers Convention & Expo and other TSCRA meetings and events, digital and print media sales, TSCRA partner member program, and TSCRA education efforts.
Cultivate lasting relationships with partners and sponsors and grow loyalty.
Work with partners and sponsors to better understand their business needs and goals.
Design and implement sales and marketing plans that include sales and revenue goals, strategies, budgets and other revenue development plans.
Collaborate with the TSCRA communications and marketing department to develop sales materials.
Negotiate and implement affinity programs for TSCRA members.
Supervise and motivate the activities and performance of the Advertising and Partnership Manager.
Attend industry events and trade shows to develop accounts and grow personal relationships with partners and sponsors.
Maintain records and track sales through CRM database.
Coordinate with Executive Director of Events and Partnerships to manage and oversee accounts receivable and invoicing.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Service accounts through all stages, including production, quality control and payment.
Coordinate with the TSCRA Special Ranger Foundation and TSCRA Leadership Development Foundation on development opportunities and strategies.
Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Events and Partnerships.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to be work from Fort Worth office location as required.
Must be able to work during customary workday/work week and at other times including evenings and weekends.
Must be able to travel as required.
Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills.
Exceptional project management ability and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
Proactive attitude with ability to anticipate needs, problems and opportunities.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge or familiarity with agriculture, livestock, cattle, landowner, and/or western lifestyle is preferable, but not necessary.
Must be willing to consent to a background check.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Four-year college degree from an accredited college or university.
Extensive experience and proven track record in corporate relations and sales and generating revenue.
Proven negotiation and account management skills.
