Digital Content Specialist – Midan Marketing

Overview The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for working with team members on implementing content and SEO strategies that support our client business goals using relevant digital touchpoints to guide the target audience through the buyer’s journey to complete a desired action. This team member will support a growing team with a wide variety of projects and tasks related to social media, search marketing, website maintenance, email marketing, content marketing and distribution, influencer marketing, research, presentation development and other overall coordination tasks. The ideal candidate must be able to handle multiple responsibilities and efficiently juggle a workload that will include shifting priorities and deadlines. On a daily basis, the position requires someone that can take initiative with minimal direction, can adapt to changing client needs, has the ability to seek out information from appropriate sources and has exceptional follow-through. Attention to detail is extremely important. Specific Responsibilities

  • Work with Content Marketing team to develop client content calendars to support overall content strategy

  • Utilize analytics and 3rd party data to make content recommendations and decisions to grow audiences

  • Participate in brainstorms to conceptualize unique content topics that drive relevant connections between our brands and target audiences

  • Support SEO tactical efforts and strategy deployment

  • Work with team on Influencer marketing campaign management and content curation, KPI and budget tracking

  • Assess existing content in priority areas to help recommend SEO opportunities for increasing traffic to existing content

  • Assist in set-up and content curation for brand social pages within multiple platforms to increase brand visibility

  • As needed assist in management of multiple brand presences in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, posting on relevant blogs, video content and live streaming, and seeding content into social applications as needed

  • Keep up to date with best practices in content writing, social media and business/industry trends

Qualifications

  • Have a strong knowledge base is SEO and content creation

  • Be a multi-platform expert, staying current with product updates across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and other social networks.

  • Experience managing social media accounts

  • Strong copywriting and editorial skills within digital and social media channels

  • Strong presentation, communication and research skills for cross-team collaboration

  • Ability to assess and edit content created by other team members

  • Ability to distinguish and apply different writing styles as well as the ways to reach the audience with the written word

  • Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with professional staff and clients at all levels in the organization

  • Experience writing copy for business growth purposes

  • Influencer marketing experience

  • Experience with Google analytics and how to track performance of content

  • Digital Marketing growth path interests – SEO, PPC, Social Media, Website, Content

  • Experience using third-party tools for content management, scheduling, distribution, and reporting such as Meltwater, Later and/or Sprout Social
