Summary and Objective The Development Intern is responsible for supporting relationships with AFA partners and facilitating communication and participation between external partners and internal program execution teams.
Assist with managing major donor and partner relations activities for AFA.
Prepare development proposals and project plans for potential and existing AFA partners and donors in follow up to meeting discussions.
Collaborate with AFA team to ensure AFA partners are involved in programs, and coordinate communication with AFA partners in order to increase program involvement.
Assist in research of appropriate partners based on programmatic needs.
Manage logistics and tracking of program/partners events (i.e. Institutes, Leaders Conference) including kick off calls, preliminary and final itineraries.
Record partner communication notes and activities with Raiser's Edge call reports.
Update and maintain accurate data records related to partner organizations and individuals.
Support other development/program efforts as needed.
