As the voice of Certified Angus Beef, you’ll write copy for everything from grocery store meat department signs and restaurant e-newsletters to fun event invites and internal communications. You’ll also use your prowess as a writer to engage social media audiences, ghost write for company executives and correct people’s grammar before the designers hit print. To summarize: you get to decide what everyone else gets to say about the very best beef. As the saying goes, “With great writing comes great power.” Or something like that.
Serve as the lead writer for marketing copy requests (audiences range from consumers and ranchers to chefs, meat department managers and sales representatives)
Edit and proof all company projects for accuracy and overall brand tone
Keep the company style updated and manage StoryBrand scripts
Collaborate with fellow storytellers, designers, account marketing managers and directors
Publish weekly internal communication full of current staff stories and announcements
Work with the digital team to engage social media followers
Get to know your coworkers by interviewing them and writing their staff biographies
Ghostwrite for coworkers, including directors and executives, plus other business leaders
