Coordinator for Online Curriculum Development – Tennessee State University

This instructional designer-type coordinator position for online curriculum development will support Faculty/Extension Specialists and Extension Agents as they develop new and innovative online academic and extension courses/programs and transition current courses and educational programs to online formats. The successful candidate will also be in charge of hardware and software dedicated to innovative and university-supported forms of online learning in the College of Agriculture. This position will be responsible for maintenance and functionality of instructional technology equipment in the Agriculture Information Technology Center (AITC), the Farrell Westbrook Auditorium (The Barn), and related venues in the college. In addition to online curriculum development projects, this position will also assist Extension Education Specialists in training and development of faculty in the use of hardware and software applications for effective online distance education programs that utilize and integrate existing LMS platforms with various forms of instructional technology, including, but not limited to: video creation and editing, adaptive learning, immersive learning, online educational assessment and evaluation, and overall course development and maintenance of the online courses in the College of Agriculture.
