The Content Specialist will work collaboratively with departments to create engaging content that aligns with brand voice and accomplishes client marketing goals across earned, owned and paid channels. While heavily involved in social media development, this role includes producing and managing content for websites, paid search, digital ads, email campaigns and blogs. Supports social media strategy and execution. Requires knowledge of design and online publishing tools as well as the drive to research trends independently and bring fresh ideas to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:
Produce written content that aligns with client marketing strategies.
Develop content calendars (social media, blogs, email marketing) to help ensure cohesive communications across channels.
Collaborate with creative to deliver engaging visual content.
Strong creative thinking, writing, and interpersonal communication skills with extreme attention to detail when it comes to grammar and copywriting.
Work closely with Social Media Strategist and Director of Content.
Follow industry-related news and generates ideas around trending topics.
Review data and analytics to optimize content performance.
Uses various online tools to organize and publish content.
Skilled at communication and organization.
