The Content & SEO Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content across various platforms to drive brand awareness and support growth. Candidate must possess exceptional writing skills to include product descriptions, landing pages, blogs, etc. The role requires analytical ability with a thorough understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), including but not limited to: keyword research, competitor analysis, schema, etc. Embrace the culture of the company with an intense desire to learn, innovate, and succeed at being the best.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop high quality website content including 500+ product descriptions, landing pages, and blogs.
Work with 3rd party SEO platform to prioritize projects and build reports and tracking.
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords, aligning with the company’s target audience and business goals.
Perform SEO assessments and audits of website, including technical site components, content strategy, and competitor analysis.
Implement on-page SEO optimizations such as headers, metadata, schema, etc.
Work with developers to implement technical SEO deliverables.
Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and BrightEdge
Ability to evaluate, report and suggest action based on data gleaned.
Keep abreast of industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of SEO strategies

Minimum Qualifications:
BA Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalency of 2 -5 years related experience in SEO and copywriting.
Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
Proficiency in Google suite including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage marketing data to develop organic search strategies.
Ability to work within a team and independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
