The Communications Specialist will work within Oklahoma State University's Department of Brand Management using writing and editing skills to communicate OSU's stories and help implement OSU's strategic marketing and communications plan which prioritizes recruitment, retention and reputation management.
The communications specialist will utilize skills in social media management, digital marketing, content planning, customer service, writing and editing to create and distribute digital content that enhances OSU's reputation as well as brand awareness among key target audiences. This position will write and produce content across multiple channels for multiple audiences. As part of Brand Management's digital team, this position supports the university's digital marketing strategies across channels including social media, email, web writing and more.
The individual should be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects and editorial calendars. The individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic thinking in finding new opportunities to showcase Oklahoma State University.
