Communications Specialist II – OSU Brand Management

Stillwater, OK • Full-Time • Bachelor’s Degree Required

This position must have an understanding of current strategic communications, marketing and outreach strategies and an adaptable writing style for various audiences. The individual should be highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple projects and editorial calendars. The individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic thinking in finding new opportunities to showcase Oklahoma State University. Key Job Responsibilities Include: - Serve as Brand Management's lead for strategic campaigns, working with team members from across the department and university to ensure those projects stay on deadline and align with objectives. Assist in producing high-quality stories, print, promotional and advertising materials that enhance and define the university's image and key messages for various target audiences. Contribute to the advertising content planning and writing process for print and digital platforms. - Serve as the team lead for web and digital writing projects. This includes content creation for OSU's primary web presence, user-focused writing as well as facilitating web and content marketing workshops for various partners. Work within Brand Management project management system to ensure content and projects meet deadlines and expectations. - Proactively identify opportunities that showcase OSU's points of distinction, programs, people and resources.

- Assist in building an environment of collaboration and teamwork in the unit and across multiple departments, colleges, and campuses. Other duties as assigned.
