The Communications Manager/Director will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of various communications, marketing and educational programs. This individual will work closely with others to develop a demand for pork and improve the farmer image. This individual must be fluent in marketing and social media tactics and current with industry trends, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have a passion for developing new ideas and desire to stay current on industry trends. To be successful they must be able to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and with minimal oversite and exhibit the professionalism associated with the Ohio Pork Council.
This individual will work directly with the Demand Enhancement Committee to develop promotions and a budget for the committee’s goals for the fiscal year. They will also oversee the committee's budget and most of the programs within the budget.
