Communications Manager – National Corn Growers Association

Responsible for developing and implementing communication plans in support of NCGA strategic priorities of the production and sustainability department. This position will also assist with overall social media coordination, community management and reporting of NCGA’s social channels.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing annual goals and strategic plan for the Communications Department related to production and sustainability programs.

  • Provide input to and coordinate with DC-based staff related to programs that involve policy elements related to production and sustainability programs.

  • Develop content (talking points, news stories, editorials, press releases, etc.) in support of assigned topics and communication plans.

  • Work with the Director of Communications on NCGA’s social media strategy.

  • Monitor news and trends related to assigned topics.
