The Oklahoma 4-H Foundation, Inc. is seeking a student worker willing to work willing to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 20 – 40 hours per week for the summer to serve as a coordinator of communications and marketing activities for the Foundation. This position provides the opportunity for the holder to play a major role in the public-facing operations of a charitable foundation operating throughout the state of Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, design, and oral communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines, and have a strong customer service orientation. Although the position does include some fixed office and event time obligations, there is also the potential for flexibility in work times and locations.
Essential job functions
Prepare Oklahoma 4-H Foundation marketing materials and correspondence.
Provide photographic and video services for Oklahoma 4-H Foundation events.
Coordinate social media engagement and social media marketing efforts.
Draft feature stories and distribute same to local, state, regional, and national media outlets.
Design and coordinate production of digital and hardcopy marketing materials.
Draft and distribute special event promotion materials and coordinate participant correspondence.
Ability to communicate and work well with a diverse staff and other students.
