Communications and Marketing Intern– Meridian Technology Center


Stillwater, OK • Paid • 20 hours/week


The person in this role could be asked to carry out a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced office that requires attention to detail, meeting deadlines, independence, flexibility, a positive attitude, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.   1. Write copy for press releases, brochures, print pieces, marketing materials and social media. Develop strong relationships on campus to identify and tell the Meridian story. Must be knowledgeable of AP Style for editing, proofreading and writing with accuracy.

  2. Create content and take photos for posting on social media. Run targeted social media ads. Use analytics to determine the best time to post and best ways to adjust ads to get maximum ROI.

  3. Create graphics using Canva. Graphics will be used in a variety of applications.

  4. Uphold Meridian Technology Center’s Mission, Vision and Values. Support the culture by living out our values of:

Candidates may be asked to complete a writing assignment and social media analysis.


This is an in-person position on Meridian’s Main Campus in Stillwater.
