Along with most of the university, Career Services has made the decision to “Go Virtual” this semester. What does this mean? We are making plans for virtual career development programming, virtual career fairs, and virtual interviews. We want you to be aware of these changes so you can best help your students connect with their future careers.
In this email you will find dates for career fairs, a link to our virtual platform, and resources to help students learn the virtual career fair process. Research shows, you have up to 200x more time with students than staff in the Career Center, which means you play a critical role in the future career success of your students! Fall Career Fairs:
Virtual Part-Time & Volunteer Job Fair – Aug. 27
Virtual CEAT Career Fair – Sept. 15
Virtual Business Career Fair – Sept. 16
Virtual Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources Career Fair – Sept. 17
We will be using the Career Fair Plus platform for all of our fairs. Students can download the virtual fair app at this link: https://cfplus.page.link/63ZA and the fairs will be viewable in the app on August 3rd. Student resources with step-by-step instructions and how-to videos can be found on the Career Fair Plus website. We hope you can help us direct students to our virtual platform so they can become familiar with the process and find success connecting with employers. If you have any questions or would like more information on the virtual platform or any career-related resources for your classes, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
