We are pleased to announce a graduate assistantship in the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences at NC State University! This assistantship will support the new Career Pathways in Agriculture for Community College Students (Career PACCS) in North Carolina program.
This is an integrated research, academic, and Extension program funded by the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation. This program will provide mentoring and career development for North Carolina community college students in identifying their agricultural career pathways and engaging with the NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of Career PACCS including recruiting community college students; conducting career forums; managing a dynamic web presence; contacting faculty and graduate student mentors; and evaluating the program's effectiveness. This 2- or 3-year assistantship will begin fall 2021.
Candidates should apply and be accepted to the Graduate School at NC State by July 15, 2021. Additionally, interested candidates should send a letter of application and a current resume or CV to Dr. Donaldson and/or Dr. Lambert.
