Wharton, TX • Full-Time • Bachelor's Degree Required We are seeking a project manager to join the Ranch House team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects including new website development, logo designs, printed materials including advertisements, catalogs, annual reports; and social media projects including social media content creation. The typical project manager oversees approximately 50 projects simultaneously.
The project manager serves as a liaison between our sales team and clients to make sure projects are completed efficiently, on-time, and in the most positive experience possible for our customers. This is an hourly paid position with flexible hours as long as they are completed between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST.
We are a mid-size advertising agency in Wharton, Texas. This position is based in Wharton, Texas. Remote applicants will not be considered.
Work in very close collaborate with our sales team and take-over projects once the sales staff finalizes a project booking.
Initiate projects for existing clients and coordinate them from start to finish.
Planning, making timelines, managing client expectations, sticking to the budget, and guiding clients through the design process.
High level of written communications and phone communications and in-person meetings to help projects stay on task and on time.
Listening to clients needs and preferences and organizing that information into design briefs and mood boards to be used by designers.
Presenting proofs to clients, gathering their feedback, and interpreting feedback to the design team.
Assisting clients with writing content for their website and other projects, or taking their verbal ideas and putting them into written content.
Managing and assigning workflow for a team of designers and updaters to make sure deadlines are met.
Testing and proofing projects before they are approved.
Working with clients to help determine their messaging and checklist of items needed to complete projects.
Appropriate accountability of time spent on projects to report to clients
Able to delegate tasks to various staff members and oversee their completion
Exceptional computer skills including experience with Google Drive and Dropbox
Experience with a project management software like Basecamp a plus
Working knowledge of Mac computer
Ability to multi-task, working on numerous projects with many clients at one time
Very internet savvy, able to use web browsers and navigate websites
Extremely efficient at email and typing
Deadline and detail-oriented
A creative, self-starter who can facilitate ideas for clients from start to finish on fast deadlines and tight time frames.
Creative intelligence with the ability to articulate creative ideas to clients.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Some level of experience in agriculture, cattle ranching, or farm-to-table marketing a plus
$25/hour, expected 30 to 35 hours per week. Sales bonuses available.
