Overview The Brand Strategist will be a part of Midan’s Customer Insights Team (CIT) specifically supporting Tyson Fresh Meats brand portfolio. Working with the Account Management Team, the Brand Strategist will bring understanding and insights that help create effective strategy and execute results driven campaigns. The Brand Strategist is able to analyze culture, trends, the Client’s business, the market landscape, the brand strategy and the B2B customer or the consumer to become a trusted advisor to the internal Midan Team and consult to the Client.
This role will collaborate with a cross functional team to include: market research, customer insights, account management, MARTECH and creative services to develop frameworks for strategic communications. The Brand Strategist will develop and persuasively communicate brand positioning and B2B/B2C insight to communications plans; clearly and persuasively communicate thoughts and ideas while demonstrating poise, intellect, professionalism and a strong commitment to client’s goals and objectives.
What You'll Do
Develop | Write and contribute insightful creative briefs to inspire creative services and MARTECH and make a meaningful impact to our clients’ business. Form point of view on brand and target specific topic areas and in partnership with Market Research identify gaps in information and opportunities to develop more meaningful and data-driven insights.
Communicate | Collaborate with a cross-functional team and support strategic rationale across an integrated mix of teams including Customer Insights, Account Teams, PR, MarTech and Creative Services developing and communicating recommendations. Participate as needed in leading and guiding brainstorms and workshops.
Execute | Provide day-to-day strategic support for key external customers and internal stakeholders. Leverage data from multiple resources to inform various stakeholders on key industry trends and share information broadly to move the client’s business forward. Manage brand strategy related projects and be a strategic sounding board for cross-functional teams.
Understand | Understand the drivers of client business, cultural dynamics, target behaviors and attitudes and how Tyson Fresh Meat’s brands fits into the overall picture. Keep abreast of the latest trends (market, culture, technology) as well as user insights to leverage them into impactful marketing activities and dynamic, thoughtful creative briefs.
