This role partners with the Animal Nutrition Business marketing team and our corporate marketing partners, to plan and execute integrated communication programs to leverage our brands to achieve defined performance and business objectives. This role provides oversight of communications planning, the development of brand building programs, and ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and modern marketing best practices for our livestock nutrition businesses/brands.
This position ensures communication programs are continually measured and learning is used to improve business and brand performance. This position holds financial accountability, working closely with marketing partners to manage our brand marketing investments.
The ideal candidate has a passion for building brands, a test and learn mindset, and has a strong curiosity for the ever-changing communications landscape. They should embrace and help drive change while being able to build genuine and authentic connections in a complex industry/category.
7+ years agency and/or client-side Marketing Communications experience, with agriculture or animal nutrition/health experience preferred.
Our B2B marketing programs leverage core B2C principles so a varied background is welcomed;
Undergraduate degree or higher is required.
Solid experience with advertising (digital, video, print, social, point-of-sale, etc.), price promotion, influencer, PR, events, website/digital utilities, 1-1, and sales/retailer/channel communication support.
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Comfort working within ambiguity and an ability to bring clarity and formulate a path forward
Comfort working in a relatively flat org structure. A ‘chip in’ mentality shared by all levels
Must be highly collaborative; with an ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to work in a hybrid environment - self prioritizing and time managing
Travel required; approximately 10-15% (during typical times)
