The Associate Director of Web Strategy within Brand Management has primary responsibility for overseeing Oklahoma State University's web initiatives, goals and long-term vision for digital technologies that enhance user experience and grow OSU's online presence and brand. The associate director is the primary lead on web projects and provides strategic oversight for major technology implementations including websites, app development, high-impact digital technologies, web development, design, web accessibility and more.
This position will work in close partnership with the Brand Management team, communications and marketing staff across the OSU System and university Information Technology staff to ensure that web strategies are aligned, to define priorities and to plan and implement strategic web-related projects. This position will also provide guidance and input related to campus-wide web and IT governance, strategy and rationalization efforts.
Must have an understanding of current and emerging web and app development tools and trends; content management systems, design and content strategies. The individual should demonstrate self-direction, creativity and strategic thinking in finding new opportunities to showcase Oklahoma State University.
