An Assistant Account Executive (AAE) on our agriculture team exhibits capabilities in the fundamentals of marketing communications and public relations, as well as a passion for and understanding of agriculture and food systems. It is an important position in the company, providing a great deal of experience that prepares an individual for a successful career in marketing communications.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop program timelines and workplans

  • Coordinate program and event logistics and influencer outreach activities

  • Conduct research to support client programming and new business efforts

  • Draft effective web and digital content, social media postings, press releases, media pitches, client memos, and other materials with editing by supervisors

  • Create media lists to reach targeted reporters on a given topic

  • Monitor program measurable objectives, managing client scorecards or similar tracking tools

  • Monitor the sustainability and agriculture landscape and proactively share current events and trends

  • Develop understanding of sustainability and agriculture social media landscape

  • Actively participate in internal meetings and brainstorm sessions

  • Contribute to new business research and provide pitch support

  • Proactively manage time (including accurate time entry), assignments and individual to-do list against deadlines

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
