Overview


The event brings in cattlemen and women from more than 40 states with varying levels of involvement within the beef cattle industry. In addition to networking with peers, there is a world class tradeshow on Saturday and Sunday where students can speak with company representatives about solutions they bring to the beef cattle market or look for potential internships and jobs down the road. On top of the networking and trade show, a variety of different educational opportunities will be happening on Saturday and Sunday as well. The Angus University breakouts will include a genetics specific track, along with specific breakouts on marketing, cutting edge technologies, and the ABDs of EPDs. There are 2 different student discounts. Anyone under the age of 18 can attend for free. With their IDs, any college student is eligible for registration at $100. Registration includes 2 lunches along with full access to the tradeshow, education and keynote messages.

We also have a competitive piece with a beef skill-a-thon contest. The winner in each age division will receive a hat compliments of Greeley Hat Works! Another opportunity that might be of interest for your students, would be the Young Cattlemen’s Breakfast sponsored by Gallagher North American on Saturday morning, complete with keynote speaker Rhett Laubach. This is available for anyone 25-45 years old with education tailored just to them. Although there is an additional ticketed price associated with the breakfast, the networking opportunities will be priceless.
