Work with the Advertising Committee to update press releases and send to publications (Farmshine, Lancaster Farming, Country Folks, Cowsmo, Jersey Journal, Progressive Dairymen, Ag Dept. Press Office) before, during, and after the show. Coordinate press releases with ads for optimal impact.
Attend and “cover” the All-American Dairy Show and Premier National Junior Events 9/16/23 - 9/20/23
Create slideshows/videos for social media promoting certain events - Showmanship, IYDCJC, award winners, sponsor recognition etc., and the overall show.
Work with the Sponsorship Coordinator to create, schedule and post sponsorship recognition on Facebook page.
During Show - cover each major event/award and take photos, prepare press releases and submit
Write a detailed story of your experience as an intern at the All-American Dairy Show and submit to publications.
Work with the advertising committee to create Facebook posts to advertise the show and events.
Work with the Advertising committee to post content on other outlets - Youtube, Instagram, TikTok etc.
Compensation: $1,400, Expense reimbursement (mileage, meals during event, approved supplies) and lodging during the All-American Dairy Show and Premier National Junior Events.
Time Estimation: 1-3 hours each week + 40-50 hours during the event.
