Warner, OK • Full Time • Master’s Degree in Agriculture Required
Teach a minimum of 12 hours per semester.
Design curriculum for prospective courses.
Assist in the development of courses using distance education and other technologies.
Assist with divisional events, clubs and teams.
Travel to various high schools, conferences, and other sites for recruitment.
Develop promotional materials including but not limited to flyers and pamphlets.
Oversee program website updates and program’s social media.
Provide reports and information as requested.
Coordinate and conduct competitive and/or recruitment activities for the division.
Coordinate activities related to the exhibition of College’s beef cattle, including recruitment and supervision of students, daily feeding, care, and preparation of show string for exhibition. Will also be responsible for entries, travel arrangements and supervising students at shows where college cattle are exhibited.
Manage and/or coordinate care of College’s teaching herds.
Develop camps, workshops or field days for instructors and/or youth groups.
Develop educational opportunities on the college campus and college farms.
Maintain facilities at the college farms.
Oversight of budgets for functional area.
Maintain equipment, supplies and vehicles related to the farm and show team.
Fundraise for team and/or division benefit.
Maintain farm and livestock records including breeding, registration, records, etc.
Develop schedules and work with instructors to implement farm and livestock activities with classroom instruction.
Other duties as assigned.
