As the Account Coordinator, you are responsible for helping both the Sr. Account Manager/Account Manager and Sr. Project Manager (AM & PM) in the day-to-day administrative management of client accounts. This shadowing and training position will help you develop the skills necessary to advance to either the position of account or project manager.
Administrating and communicating the status of projects to the Client Services team
Prepare account and project management-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence as requested from the AM
Participate in and document discussions during client and internal meetings
Help manage and create tasks within Workamajig for various campaigns as directed by the PM
With the direction of the AD open jobs in Workamajig
When the AM is not available serve as the client contact making sure to engage with a high sense of urgency and customer service.
Assist the PM with day-to-day entering of tasks in WMJ, updating documents, following up on internal milestones and deadlines.,
Assist in coordination of campaign and project activities, including serving as the first point of contact to answer questions on background information and project details from internal resources (e.g., the media, creative, PR and strategy teams)
Acquire knowledge of client’s business so that marketing and advertising problems and opportunities may be anticipated
Work with the Account Managers to build and nurture relationships with clients
Provide assistance to AM on day-to-day client activities, including responding to internal questions and client emails, proofing scopes of work, creating tactical briefs, managing production and creative deadlines, media placements, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow in the absence of the assigned account manager.
Stay aware of client activities to provide backup when account managers are unavailable.
Gather and assemble background information and synthesize as needed by account manager in development of tactical briefs, project kick-offs, etc.
Assist with file management and version control, saving digital (and hard copy files if needed) on all client activities including SOW approvals, client presentations, copy/creative files, and other account service files and links used in the for daily management of each account.
